| It would be at the minion stronghold, that a rather powerful-looking set of armor would be seen, walking towards the entrance of the said hideout. It seemed rather exhausted, winded even, as if it had tried to quickly move all that distance.
"Damn it... why was I programmed with this stuffy helmet..." a voice came, outside of the hideout. Raising his hands, he undid a latch and removed the metal obstruction, revealing the head of a panther. Tossing this helmet aside, much like how one would discard an unwanted wrapper, he opened the front door of the hideout, stepping in, pretty much proceeding with his job on his own whim.
"Is someone named Carlos here?" an intimidating voice echoed out into the foyer.

| Carlos' eyes opened from a brief nap, immediately focusing on the armored form before him. Climbing out of a small bunker-like fort contructed of a table and several chairs, he yawned, and half-raised a hand. The after-dinner brawl the night before had lasted particularly long and had been particularly energetic without Derkholme to calm things down, and the fort had quickly become necessary to survival.
"That's me," he said, wariness covered by drowsiness.

| Volye called out from within his room. "Who wants to know?"
Priscilla joined him. "That would be him genius."
"Well yeah but who is he?"
"I dunno."
"Well I'm finding out."
"But you didn't ask that."
"It's implied."
"I'm awake."
"Gyro?"
"You shouldn't butt into the conversation out of nowhere, it's confusing."
"Wait... why is Gyro scolding himself?"
"He's not, I'm scolding him."
"Whose I?"
"You're Voyle."
"I know that, I meant;"
"Someone turn on a light in here."
Jack's head promplty caught on fire and the group was able to see themselves. He proceeded to begin lighting torches with his head.
Voyle nodded. "Much better." He yelled out again. "No one gets into the Emerald City!"
Jack bellowed in a deep voice. "I AM OZ!"
Gyro waved his hands. "Too soon, you'll kill the joke!"
Jack finished. "THE GREAT AND POWERFUL!"
Priscilla sighed. "Well I'm going to make sure he doesn't go running out there like the rest of his friends and get killed..."
She flew up to Carlos' mini-fort, to make sure he heard, and get him back inside.
"Please just don't run out and get another one of our group caught up in an incredibly crazy battle royale..." Priscilla looked slightly away. "You know.... one not between us."

| "Ugh, finally..." the voice said again, taking a deep breath. "This is the third 'partially destroyed city' that I've come to in order to find you..."
The DaCre looked around for a moment. "Yup... listen, kid, the rest of your group are already pretty much reunited about eighteen miles thataway... it seems you never got the message," he said, rather simply. "Anyway, someone sent me to pick you up and get you there... dunno why they sent me though, they know I hate running... walking... doing work... I'm rambling..."
He pointed at Carlos with the index claw of his right hand. "Anyway, I can get you there quickly, but I gotta ask... you get queasy easily?"

| "Um... I'll try not to get killed." said Carlos to the fairy, making what was probably intended to be a reassuring smile.
Carlos shook his head after hesitating a moment following the helmed man's statement.
"No, I should be fine," he said.

| "Very well, then," the panther replied, removing the rest of the steel to reveal a basic black ninja outfit, without weapons or tools: just something that allowed mobility.
Taking Carlos on his back, as soon as they got outside, he broke out in an insane sprint, soon kicking sand off into the air in huge amounts. The panther, who seemed winded before, now seemed focused solely on a target that would soon be coming up in his sight... in perhaps five or ten minutes...
